DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING
YOUR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
THE TRAINING PROCESS
Knowing God and making Him Known is our number one purpose in life. As mandated by Christ, Himself, we are sent to proclaim the Gospel (Evangelism) and to teach others to follow Christ (Discipleship Training). From the Lord’s example, we learn that, men are His method of evangelizing and making disciples. Your personal development is crucial in expanding the Kingdom of God and is necessary for the evangelization and development of others. Jesus said, “follow me and I will make you to become fishers of men”…
Within (2) years, you can earn a certificate in Practical Ministry Experience. Your training will consist of four sessions. In Session #1, you will be selected and assigned to a G-12 Cell Group. Your ability to follow instructions will be measured, as you are instructed in the Word of God. In Session #2, you will learn to be consecrated – to follow the Lord in obedience and instructed how to receive and administrate the Gift (s) of the Holy Ghost. In Session #3, you will be required to demonstrate what you have learned and be given an assignment on leading others to Christ. Your assignment will be to conduct a cell group and/or Bible Study at one of the Campus, Prison or Service Care Outreaches. In Session #4, you will be evaluated as to your born again experience, your spiritual perception and understanding, your endurance of sound doctrine, and your ability to handle responsibility. Upon successfully completing Practical Ministry Training, you will be assigned a G-12 Group and/or appointed to the Helps Ministry. Helps Ministry is designed to teach the lost art of serving one another. Here the candidate will prove his faithfulness to the Lord and his love for God, the Father and His people.
Those wanting to pursue further ministerial training can apply for Leadership Development #1 and #2. Having been found faithful and approved, candidate will be appointed to use the Office of Deacon. Here the candidate will have opportunities to express great boldness in the faith by ministering to the needs of the congregation and by his life being an example to others.
Those who perceive the “call of God” upon them, can apply for MIT (Minister in Training) and Elders Training. Having been found blameless, as a Steward of God, candidate will be appointed to use the Office of Elder. Here the candidate will learn how to guide, guard and govern the “flock” of God. Having served as an Elder successfully and faithfully, in an assigned capacity, and having remained in good standing with the Church, candidate will be ordained as an Elder.
Those seeking licensing and ordinations will apply to Global Reach School of Ministry. Having successfully completed the course requirements and having remained in good standing with the Church, candidate will be licensed and/or ordained. Upon being licensed and/or ordained, the minister
1) Will be sent forth to pioneer a new work. 2) Will go with someone who is pioneering a new work. 3) Will remain faithful to the work here as a staff minister.
